Camp Pelican is comprised of three distinct programs, each with an emphasis appropriate to a particular age group.  Regardless of the specific program, all campers are grouped by sex and grade.  All campers are required to wear camp shirts daily and two are included with your camp fees.  Small groups make each camper feel part of a group and not lost in a crowd.

Mini-Camp is a half-day program for 3 and 4 year old campers.  It provides a full morning schedule with an extended day option.  The mini-camp program does not include transportation.  Campers are dropped off at 9:15 a.m. and picked up at 12:30 p.m.  The daily schedule consists of three activity periods and a lunch period.  Daily activities usually include swim lessons, sports and arts periods.  Campers must enroll for full weeks, i.e. Monday through Friday.  An extended day option with a 3:30 p.m. pickup is available daily.

Our Lower Camp is a full day program for campers 3 to 6 years old, usually campers in pre-school or entering first grade in September.  A fully structured program with every group led by two staff members.  Each day is carefully scheduled with a diverse mix of recreational and instructional activities.  Team sports and games, swimming, arts and more are all included in this comprehensive program.  We provide an active and fun-filled camp day designed to meet the specific needs of these younger campers.

The Upper Camp program is designed for campers between the ages of 7 – 13 years old.  These campers enjoy a schedule that features a full range of activities, both recreational and instructional.  Our goal is to establish a solid foundation of skills and confidence in every camper.  Each camping day is scheduled to provide a maximum amount of fun and learning.  A fully structured day helps reinforce group cohesion and assures that campers get the most from each activity period.  Individual and team sports, creative arts and sciences and special events are all part of this exciting program.

The Upper Camp allows campers aged 12-13 an opportunity to combine group activities with individual choices.  Campers follow a morning schedule of activities designed for their particular group.  Afternoons are devoted to electives, each camper choosing activities according to their individual interests.  Counselors will assist campers with these choices and help each camper to realize their personal goals.
